Dr. Carson Spornhauer brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, clinical excellence, and genuine care to her role as a general dentist at Golden Hill Family Dentistry. Since joining the practice in 2023, she’s been committed to building lasting patient relationships and supporting a positive, collaborative team culture.
A proud graduate of The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!), Dr. Carson has been practicing dentistry since 2018. She chose the field because it perfectly blends her passion for healthcare with her love of artistry and problem-solving.
No two days are the same in her world, and that’s exactly what she loves. She thrives on connecting with patients from all walks of life and working alongside a talented, dedicated team to deliver the highest standard of care.
Outside the office, Dr. Carson is always up for an adventure. She enjoys staying active, exploring Colorado’s outdoors, baking sourdough, and getting lost in romantasy novels. She’s also a proud "nerd" who unwinds with anime, Dungeons & Dragons, and globetrotting whenever she gets the chance.

This week I had the pleasure of visiting Golden Hill Family Dentistry to receive a long-awaited dental implant, and for a crown fitting. Over the course of two days I was seen by both Drs Grace and Carson, as well as dental assistant Melissa.
Competency matters: What stands out most about this practice is their efficiency, responsiveness, and their emphasis on effective patient-provider communications. As a trained analyst and problem solver, I highly value having my questions and concerns addressed before beginning a procedure and receiving clear follow-up instructions afterwards.
I love that they can fabricate nightguards and ‘simple’ crowns on-site, a tremendous benefit for me in terms of time savings and enhanced convenience.
The reception area and back-office workspaces are aesthetically furnished, clean, and welcoming. The front-desk staff are top-notch and make setting or rescheduling appointments a breeze. The practice is close to my residence so it really couldn’t get any better than this. I highly recommend Golden Hill Family Dentistry!
