Dr. Grace Rudersdorf

Dentist

Dr. Grace Rudersdorf is the proud owner and lead dentist at our practice in Lakewood, CO. She brings a thoughtful blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and a deep commitment to patient education. She began her journey in dentistry in 2014 after earning her degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry and officially took the reins of her own practice in January 2017.

Known for her love of science, art, and hands-on work, Dr. Grace found her perfect match in dentistry. She’s passionate about educating patients on the power of preventive care and how oral health connects to overall wellness. She also enjoys mentoring her highly experienced team and introducing new techniques that elevate patient care.

When she’s not with patients or deep into continuing education (a major passion of hers), Dr. Grace can often be found with a book in hand—she averages about one a week. A true Coloradoan at heart, she also enjoys gardening, skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling. And for a fun, unexpected twist? She’s a skilled knitter too!

Dr. Grace is dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centred care and is proud to lead a practice that feels like a second home—for both patients and staff.

Dr. Carson Spornhauer

Dentist

Dr. Carson Spornhauer brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, clinical excellence, and genuine care to her role as a general dentist at Golden Hill Family Dentistry. Since joining the practice in 2023, she’s been committed to building lasting patient relationships and supporting a positive, collaborative team culture.

A proud graduate of The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!), Dr. Carson has been practicing dentistry since 2018. She chose the field because it perfectly blends her passion for healthcare with her love of artistry and problem-solving. 

No two days are the same in her world, and that’s exactly what she loves. She thrives on connecting with patients from all walks of life and working alongside a talented, dedicated team to deliver the highest standard of care.

Outside the office, Dr. Carson is always up for an adventure. She enjoys staying active, exploring Colorado’s outdoors, baking sourdough, and getting lost in romantasy novels. She’s also a proud "nerd" who unwinds with anime, Dungeons & Dragons, and globetrotting whenever she gets the chance.

Dr. Carson’s energy, empathy, and curiosity make her a trusted provider and a vital part of the Golden Hill team.

Melissa

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Melissa has been in the dental field since 2013 and brings over a decade of experience and compassion to our team. She joined the practice in 2022 and quickly became a patient favorite thanks to her calming presence and ability to make everyone feel safe and comfortable in the chair.

Originally from Maryland from a family with six sisters, Melissa got her start through hands-on chairside training and hasn’t looked back since. What began as a leap into something new turned into a career she truly loves.

Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her adorable pup, Appa, and exploring Colorado’s many hiking trails. She’s also a big fan of live music and has a creative streak—collecting unique bird feathers and rocks wherever she goes. 

Merab

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Fluent in Spanish and English, Merab has been working in dentistry since 2020 and joined our team in 2023. A graduate of Pickens Technical College, she’s an expanded duties dental assistant who finds true joy in helping patients feel proud of their smiles again. For Merab, seeing the confidence return to someone’s face is what makes it all worth it. She’s always had a keen interest in teeth, even as a kid. That natural fascination led her to a career where she could combine precision, care, and creativity every day.

Born and raised in Colorado, Merab loves traveling, going to concerts, and keeping up with the latest trends in fashion and makeup. 

Norma

Dental Assistant

Norma has been working in dentistry since 2012 and brings a calm, steady presence to our team each day. A graduate of Everest College, she’s passionate about creating a smooth flow in the clinic, staying on top of the schedule, and helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease.

She’s always been drawn to the healthcare field and finds fulfillment in supporting patients through tough moments—and seeing their relief and confidence grow afterward.

Outside of the office, Norma is all about strength and speed. She loves weight training at the gym and cruising on her motorcycle whenever she gets the chance. A fun fact about her is that she skipped the 6th grade!

Maureen

Hygienist

Maureen has been bringing smiles (and plenty of laughs) to the dental world since 2020. A graduate of SIU and CCD, she’s passionate about helping patients take great care of their teeth—and having a little fun along the way. With Maureen, there’s truly never a dull moment.

She loves being part of a team that keeps things upbeat and full of energy. When she’s not polishing pearly whites, you’ll likely find her out on the golf course, playing pickleball, camping, or enjoying a good game of cards.

Maureen also has a creative side. She enjoys making diamond-dot art in her downtime, and a fun fact that surprises many: she loves to bartend and experiment making beverages with new and exciting flavors.

Cassandra

Hygienist

Cassandra has been working in dentistry since 2020 and brings a passion for prevention to every appointment. A graduate of Concorde Career College, she loves educating patients about the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Her goal is to empower people with the tools and knowledge they need to take charge of their dental care. With a background in medicine, Cassandra transitioned into dentistry to focus on the proactive side of healthcare. 

Cassandra stays active and adventurous. You’ll often find her mountain biking, snowboarding, or hiking through Colorado’s stunning outdoors with friends. 

Emma

Treatment Coordinator

Emma joined the dental world in 2022 and became part of our team in early 2025. As our treatment coordinator, she loves helping patients understand their care options and get on track toward the smile they’ve always wanted. Raised around dental offices, Emma has a natural feel for the flow of patient care and a genuine passion for making people feel confident. She especially enjoys working with an all-female team and creating a supportive, upbeat environment for both patients and coworkers.

Outside of work, Emma has a creative side and a spooky streak. She’s trained in special effects makeup from Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles and is always up for a good horror movie or hockey game. She also co-owns a bartending business with her fiancé and loves spending time outdoors walking her husky.

Ann

Insurance Coordinator

Ann brings over two decades of experience in the dental field and recently joined our team in April 2025. With a B.A. in English from Cedarville University in Ohio, Ann’s path into dentistry wasn’t exactly planned, but it turned out to be the perfect fit. She’s been navigating the ins and outs of dental insurance since the late 1990s and loves helping patients understand their benefits and get the care they need.

Ann’s favorite part of her job is the laughter and fun she shares with the team. From day one, she felt welcomed and right at home.

When she’s not helping patients at the front desk, Ann is likely planning her next travel adventure, diving into a good book, going for long walks, or cooking something delicious. She’s also a serious shoe lover with a collection of around 100 pairs!
